Dr. Hsu immigrated from Taiwan at age 14 and obtained his Biochemistry degree with Honors at from the University of Washington.  He then completed his training in general dentistry at UW before moving to North Carolina to be trained as a Pediatric Dentist from UNC Chapel Hill.  He is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.  He returned to Washington State in 2006 and began his career in private practice.  He was inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy while serving as President of the Clark County Dental Society in 2018.

 

He founded Storybook Dental in 2017 and has actively pursued engagements with the non-dental community to share knowledge regarding dental trauma and dental caries prevention.  He has trained over 80 school nurses in Clark County and looks forward to sharing his passion with many more healthcare providers.
