Monthly Meetings - Hybrid Format

Our monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday evening of the month (September through May).  Currently, it is either a hybrid format in-person, at a local venue selected by the CCDS Executive Council, with the option to attend virtually, or meetings held 100% virtually.

Cost:  CCDS Members - Complimentary
           Non-Members / Guests - $50.  Please make check payable to CCDS

This session will cover case presentations of common and rare benign oral lesions, common and rare malignant oral lesions, and ulcerative and autoimmune oral conditions. All cases will be supported with pre and post treatment photos. At the conclusion of this session, attendees will learn:
- Diagnosis and management of common oral lesions.
- Diagnosis and management of ulcerative/autoimmune oral conditions
- Diagnosis and management of relatively common but not well-known entities such as: Desquamative Gingivitis, Spontaneous Sequestration, Focal Actinomycosis, Lichenoid reaction and Proliferative Verrucous Leukoplakia
- Diagnosis and management of pediatric oral pathology casesBIO

Dr. Ghanee is an oral pathologist at Pacific Northwest Kaiser Dental. She has completed three years of residency in oral and maxillofacial pathology at Emory University in Atlanta, and a year of fellowship in oral, head and neck pathology at the University of Washington. Dr. Ghanee is a referral source for oral pathology cases at Kaiser. Patients are referred to her from Kaiser dental and medical clinics throughout Washington and Oregon. She has presented at the Pacific Northwest Dental Conference, the Inland Northwest Dental Conference, local dental societies and Kaiser medical clinics and has featured publications out in general pathology and oral pathology.
