Dr Gene Sakai retired after a 47 year career on December 20th 2019 and hosted a coat drive for Share House, a homeless shelter in Vancouver. 175 coats were donated by former and current patients.
Dr Sakai’s motto was to leave the dental profession a better place than he found it, and has always been committed to public service and his community.
