Writing in the New Dentist Now (4/8) blog, Dr. Cathy Hung, a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, lists steps dentists “might have already taken, or are planning to work on” to help protect their practices during the coronavirus pandemic, including calling lenders, creditors, vendors, landlords, and insurance carriers; opening a line of credit if needed or advancing money on an existing line of credit; calculating the monthly cost required to cover the next three to six months; looking into the Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loans and Paycheck Protection Program; and others. “Uncertainty can be scary, however, keep in mind that we are all in this together,” Dr. Hung states.
