  • Free Clinic of Southwest Washington

Free Clinic of SW Washington Dental Services
The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington's mission is to provide and facilitate access to free, compassionate, quality health care for adults who are otherwise unable to access such services.

The Free Clinic of SW Washington provides limited urgent dental care such as extractions and fillings to those who are uninsured and low-income. The Clinic does not provide cleanings, specialty dental care or treatment for children. In addition, the Free Clinic coordinates specialty care (medical and dental) with providers in the community. The Free Clinic partners with Medical Teams International to host two Dental Clinics per month.  These clinics may be by appointment only or walk-up. When coming to a dental clinic, patients will first be screened and given paperwork by a volunteer inside of the Free clinic. Once paperwork is complete, the patient will be asked to wait in their car or the waiting room until we are ready for the patient onboard the Mobile Dental Clinic.

New Heights Clinic is a church based medical and dental clinic, which has been providing care to underserved patients of Clark County for over 17 years. The Clinic, as a whole, has over 200 volunteers from throughout the area. The Dental Clinic volunteers include Dental Assistants, Hygienists, Dentists, and Receptionists, as well as many in the community who assist us in various ways.

Our mission is "To show Christ, the Great Healer, to Southwest Washington through a church based health clinic for the underserved". New Heights provides free dental care for patients in need of fillings, extractions, and simple root canals. The dental care is generally focused on a chief complaint, rather than comprehensive care. The patients cannot have any dental insurance or income over twice the Federal Poverty Guidelines, and they must live in Clark County.

To get an appointment, patients can call and leave a message at 5:00pm on alternating Thursdays. The messages are responded to in the order they are received, starting with 5:00, and the patients are scheduled until the available appointments are filled. Dr. Bob Bruechert is the Coordinator of the Dental Clinic.
