Monthly Meetings - Hybrid Format

Our monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday evening of the month (September through May).  Currently, it is either a hybrid format in-person, at a local venue selected by the CCDS Executive Council, with the option to attend virtually, or meetings held 100% virtually.

In-person and virtual attendance instructions are shown in the individual event pages, which you can access below.

Cost:  CCDS Members - Complimentary
           Non-Members / Guests - $50.  Please make check payable to CCDS

2 CE credits available with 90 minutes of attendance both in person and over Zoom. In order to earn CE credit via Zoom, attendees must join using a computer, laptop, or smart device. Those only calling in by phone will not be eligible for CE credit.

Our featured speaker for the evening, Linda D'Onofrio, MS, will be presenting "Oral dysfunction as a cause of malocclusion."

Malocclusions and their acquired craniofacial dysmorphology are the result of chronic oral dysfunction and OMD. In order to achieve long-term stability of the face, it is critical to understand the underlying pathologies contributing to malocclusion, open bite and hard palate collapse.

    Linda D'Onofrio, MS

Speaker Biography: Linda D’Onofrio, MS, CCC-SLP has a private practice in Portland Oregon focusing in craniofacial disorders, oromyofunctional disorders, dysphagia, and sensory-motor speech disorders. She completed her Masters at the University of Oregon, her medical externship at the Oregon Health Sciences University Medical Center with a focus on inpatient neurological acute care and outpatient cognitive rehabilitation, and her clinical fellowship at the Oregon VA Medical Center with a focus on dysphagia, aphasia, brain injury, and cancer. She is a past president of the Oregon Speech Language Hearing Association, and she lectures and presents internationally on craniofacial development and function.

Member dentists who attend in person will receive complimentary dinner at the Royal Oaks Country Club. Those attending over Zoom will no longer receive a check from CCDS for $25 towards the cost of dinner.
