The meeting will conclude at 8:30 pm, at which time a business meeting may be called.  If you have business or announcements as a member, this will be your time to speak.  All requests to speak must be made prior to the meeting to Dr. Karl Rose, by email, phone, or in person.  We will follow Robert’s Rules of Order and you will be allowed 3 minutes to speak on your topic.

Dr. Kedy Shen Biography

A native Oregonian, Dr. Kedy Shen earned his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Oregon State University. He went on to receive his DMD from Roseman University of Health Sciences, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. During his time there, he received several honors, including the Lifelong Colleague Award from Roseman CODM, the Student Leadership Award from the International College of Dentists, and the Student Achievement Award in Endodontics from the American Association of Endodontists (AAE).

After practicing as a general dentist for several years, Dr. Shen completed his residency in Endodontics at the Temple University Maurice Kornberg School of Dentistry, serving as Chief Resident. His commitment to the field is further demonstrated by his service on the Foundation of Endodontics' REACH Committee, the AAE’s Continuing Education Committee, and as President of the Marshall Baumgartner Endodontics Study Group. Dr. Shen current practices at Expert Endodontics Northwest located in Vancouver and Ridgefield.

Dr. Eric Kim Biography

Dr. Kim hails from Vancouver, British Columbia, and brings with him an impressive academic and clinical background. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry, where he received both the Dean’s Student Award and the American Academy of Orofacial Pain award in recognition of his exceptional diagnostic and clinical abilities.
Following his initial years practicing as a general dentist in Washington state, Dr. Kim was encouraged by mentors and peers to further his expertise in Periodontology. In 2025, he completed his residency and obtained a Certificate in the Advanced Education Program in Periodontology from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Kim is committed to delivering patient-centered care and is certified to provide IV moderate sedation for patients who experience high dental anxiety. His clinical interests range from saving teeth and treating gum disease to restoring smiles with dental implants. He is dedicated to addressing both the immediate needs and the underlying causes of his patients’ periodontal health concerns.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Kim enjoys running along the waterfront and indulging in decadent ice cream at home. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and is board-eligible to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
