The meeting will conclude at 8:30 pm, at which time a business meeting may be called. If you have business or announcements as a member, this will be your time to speak. We will follow Robert’s Rules of Order and you will be allowed 3 minutes to speak on your topic.
Lecture Description: This case-based review of dental imaging will introduce the participants to common dental imaging findings seen on both 2D and 3D images; focus will be provided to help the participants identify, describe and make management and/or referral decisions when abnormalities or pathologic findings are identified.
Learning Objectives:
• Recognize clinical and radiographic abnormalities.
• Describe and document findings in the health record.
• Develop and align a differential diagnosis and management plan.
• Engage other healthcare providers in the provision of care.
Speaker Bio:
Dr. David Klingman is a graduate of New Jersey Dental School. He has completed a hospital-based general practice residency, a year of oral medicine training, a 2-year comprehensive dentistry program, and 3-year residency in oral and maxillofacial pathology. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served as the senior consultant for Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, has held academic appointments at Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, West Virginia University, and Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, and has over 30 years experience in healthcare education.
